Usability Tests and Important Conclusions

After the Passover holiday, we met feeling fresh and ready to go. We conducted another usability test and drew some important conclusions:

- A 1x1 cm board is also convenient for the elderly population and looks more user-friendly.

- We noticed that players get confused about which board is theirs (where they place their submarines) and which is the opponent's board (where most of the game takes place).

- Players were unsure about the number of submarines in the game, making it difficult for them to plan their strategy.

Based on these conclusions, we decided:

- The checkerboard will be 1 cm by 1 cm.

- We will add a place above the square boards to write "my name" and "opponent's name" to avoid confusion.

- We will engrave "submarine parking" on the board so the player will know how many submarines are in the game.

Here is the translation with correct spelling and grammar:

After drawing significant conclusions, we redesigned the game board in the lab. We decided that the three buttons will appear at the bottom of the board, placed next to each other. On the side of the board, there will be a place for the pins made from felt material (which we found effective in building the initial prototype).
